"When the University of Washington closed our internal collection office and began outsourcing account receivables last year, I was very concerned. There also was much skepticism about this move from others on campus.

GRC currently performs collection services for 12 nationally competitive contracts, nine of which are guaranty agencies of state governments (or acting on behalf of state governments). GRC has a first-place ranking on seven of these 12 competitive contracts.

In contracts with another state government, GRC worked on behalf of the Attorney General's office to collect second and third referral accounts. GRC was successful in meeting the goals of the AGO, collecting approximately $37 million in past-due revenues spanning more than 100 different claim types, including personal income taxes, sales taxes, workers' compensation and corporate franchise taxes.
